A quick chat can mean everything.
We created and helped implement the
‘I am here’ mental health program to mobilise the Woolworths team to support and guide each other. Organisations such as Lifeline, Beyond Blue, R U OK? and Suicide Prevention Australia were consulted during its creation.
Trailer Highlights
Team members were invited to complete a voluntary 20-minute online course in how to give effective support. Completers received an I am here pin, identifying them as someone who could help.
Measuring Success
While the campaign is ongoing, the initial response and results were extremely positive. Within the first 24 hours, more than 1,000 people had completed the online training course. Since then, more than 39,000 team members have voluntarily undertaken the training program with more than 7,500 going on to complete additional training as part of the ambassador course.
