With our pure sparkling waters and rugged coastlines, it’s no surprise that Tasmania is home the world’s best seafood. Representing the people who make it all possible are Seafood Industry Tasmania (SIT), formerly known as Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council. Supported by the community, they’re helping to build a sustainable industry that’s as thriving as our waters.
SIT approached us to design and develop and new consumer facing website. Something that would encourage people to choose Tasmanian seafood, whether they’re cooking in a restaurant or at home.
Our team designed a website that’s clean, visually appealing and easy to navigate. It’s a hub where users can explore a range of recipes, while learning about the many people and places that make our seafood unique.
Measuring Success
The website was launched ahead of a robust national marketing campaign titled ‘Gotta Love Tassie Seafood’. During the campaign, our new website had over 10 times the daily site traffic. We saw a total of 20,000 visitors in a two-month period.
